Getting your keepsake to you

Everything is handmade to order, so the honest answer to “when will it arrive” is made of two parts: the time to make it, and the time to post it.

The two parts

Making. Work begins when your print reaches us and we have confirmed it is usable — not when you order. Most pieces take 10 to 15 working days in the workshop. Gold, and anything with several prints on it, can take longer, and we will tell you if yours will.

Posting. Once it is finished it goes out by the service you chose. We email you the moment it is posted, with the tracking number where the service carries one.

So the clock starts with your print. If you are ordering for a date that matters — an anniversary, a funeral, a birthday — tell us when you order and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.

The Print Taking Kit

If you need a kit, we post it free of charge, usually within one working day. It comes with everything you need and a pre-paid envelope to send the print back. Nothing is charged for the kit or the return postage.

Cancel after the kit has been posted and £25 is non-refundable — see returns and cancellations.

Where we deliver

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom. For anywhere else, please contact us before ordering: we can usually help, but the cost, the time and any customs charges depend on the country, and we would rather tell you first than surprise you.

Where it goes

To the address on your order. If a funeral director or another partner placed the order for you, it goes to them unless you have asked us otherwise, and they will pass it on.

Tell us as soon as possible if an address changes. Once a parcel has been posted we cannot recall it.

If something goes wrong

If a parcel is returned to us undelivered we will email you, hold your keepsake safely, and send it again as soon as you confirm where it should go. Nothing is lost.

If tracking has not moved for a week, tell us. We will chase it with the carrier and, if it is genuinely lost, we will remake your piece. We still hold your print, which is exactly why we keep it.

How it is packed

Every keepsake arrives in a navy presentation box, inside a second box for the post. The piece sits in the velvet with a care card and a polishing cloth, and the words we work by are printed inside the lid.

Nothing in the parcel mentions a price, so it can go straight to somebody as a gift without being unwrapped first. If you would like a handwritten note in with it, ask at checkout and we will put one in.

The navy presentation box open, showing the velvet interior and the words
“Comfort you can Feel, Memories you can Touch” printed inside the lid,
beside the closed outer box, navy with the Recollections mark and a gold
                botanical border
The box your keepsake arrives in, and the one it travels in.

When it arrives

Please open it somewhere you have a moment. Every piece is checked and photographed before it leaves us, but if anything is not right, tell us within a reasonable time and we will put it right — see returns.
